The Square Camberley

The Square is the main shopping centre. Its website describes over 100 shops, food and drink, leisure and events, and a free Camberley Rewards card. We do not list or rate individual shops; use the centre's directory for who is there.

Opening pattern as published by The Square: centre doors open 7am to 8pm Monday to Saturday and 9am to 5pm on Sunday. It says store hours vary, and that some stores open earlier or later. Its opening times page also gives toilet opening of 8am to 6.30pm Monday to Saturday and 9am to 4.30pm on Sunday.

Services listed on its services and facilities page:

  • a Customer Service Desk beside H. Samuel in Central Square, with parcel collection (Yodel and InPost), and a Yeep! locker on Bietigheim Way
  • free wheelchair hire from the desk, or pre-book on 01276 404110
  • a hearing aid induction loop at the desk
  • free WiFi
  • a free disabled toilet controlled by radar keys, a parent and baby room, and two photo booths
  • Sensory Friendly Time every Monday from 10am to 11:30am, without announcements or tannoys

The Atrium Camberley

The Atrium's website describes the centre as a destination for dining and entertainment, with food, cinema, bowling and live music at Login Lounge. Collectively Camberley says free public toilets and Wi-Fi are available there, and that the car park entrance is by the toilets. Check the Atrium's own site for opening times and current venues.

Collectively Camberley and the town centre

Collectively Camberley is the town centre business improvement district. Its about page says it is a not-for-profit organisation funded by and working for over 380 businesses in Camberley Town Centre, running events such as the car show and the Christmas lights switch on. Its visitor information page covers toilets, free Wi-Fi, wheelchair hire, the Sunflower hidden disabilities scheme, parcel lockers, defibrillators and getting here. It says the bus station is on Pembroke Broadway, a two minute walk to the shops, and the train station is next to the bus stop. See our bus guide and train station guide.

Markets

Collectively Camberley's markets page lists a Camberley Farmers' and Artisan Market, with contact via Surrey Markets for anyone wanting to trade or attend. The page did not state days or times, so confirm with the organiser before travelling. Our events guide covers other town centre events.

Where to park

Main Square car park adjoins The Square, is owned and operated by Surrey Heath Borough Council and, per The Square's getting here page, is accessed from Albert Road and open 24 hours. The council's Main Square page has the tariff. The Square says Level 1 has 35 disabled bays, parent and baby spaces and electric vehicle charging operated by Pod Point. The Atrium has its own car park. Knoll Road car park is beside Camberley Theatre. Charges, permits and tickets are in our parking guide, and charging in our EV guide.

The Collectively Camberley visitor page gives satnav postcodes for the car parks that differ from the council's postcodes for Main Square and Knoll Road, so use the council pages above.

Cycling

The Square says cycle racks are on Park Street outside Primark, and that bikes and scooters must be pushed, not ridden, through the centre.
