To keep the school year at 195 days, five days are being removed from the summer holiday in July 2027. If you work around school holidays, this means a longer break in October and a shorter summer break next year.
INSET days
The council says schools set their own INSET days locally, so those closure days are not on the county list. Check your school's website or newsletter for them.
