We looked at the 39 cafes and coffee shops with a public Google rating and an address in GU15, GU16, GU18 and GU19 (checked 4 October 2026). Every figure below is counted from those listings. Nothing is estimated.

Google files each listing under a category. The most common:

How well are they rated?
The middle (median) rating is 4.4 stars. By band:
- 4.5 or higher: 19
- 4.0 to 4.4: 14
- 3.5 to 3.9: 4
- below 3.5: 2
How many reviews?
Between them they have 6,977 Google reviews. The most reviewed is Deepcut Cafe with 950 (rated 4.7). The median is 142 reviews per listing, and 13 have fewer than 50, which is too few to say much about.
Food hygiene
We could match 27 of them to the Food Standards Agency register. 21 of those hold the top rating of 5, and 0 hold a 2 or lower. Hygiene ratings are the council inspector's, not Google's, and can be out of date.
